Drroping Healthy Leaves??

hey all,

quick question: one plant i've got is drooping (leaves are still healthy green), so i am unsure as to why....i have a 125w CFL 6500k, been keeping it about 6 inches away with ventilation. its in some lightly fertilized soil that i had gotten from a friend, and been feeding once every couple days with only ph-balanced filtered water. do i need to transplant to a bigger pot, or are the leaves drooping for another reason? any help would be greatly appreciated!

to small for nutriens .. it have enough in the soil .. and the soil dont look that great .. hard to see ? do it keep a good ammount of perlit in it .. or coco ? need light airy soil with good drain .. and now we talk about drain .. do that cup have some good drain holes ? if not thers your problem .. if it do I still belive to mouch water .. and nuts ..

if it was mine I would get a nice 1-3 gallon pot with good drain holes .. and a bag of good light organic soil and repot .. and dont feed it nuts for atlest a week or two ..

thanks for the quick reply!

yea, ive been giving it only water since the fert was already in the soil. it drains out the holes in the bottom real fast and doesnt seem to retain water too much, but i never did add any perlite to the mix. i have some organic soil that is 1 part topsoil, 2 part mushroom compost. should i mix that with some perlite in a bigger pot and repot? will the soil change and transplant be too hard on it?

yea .. do that ..

get some perlit .. add 30% to the mix .. and find a nice pot with good drain holes ..
if you have/get a 3 gallon now you dont need to repot before a week before 12/12/flowering .. wher I would advice a 5 gallon ..

and no .. it wont be to hard on her .. if you do it carefully (do some research here)

a few days with no grow ... over the soil .. is expected .. then it schould rocket up as it found its feed in the new pot ..
can realy do wonders for a plant .. specialy if your soil is a bit dry/dead ? dunno .. I guess its pretty new ?

did it dry out to mouch at some point ? if so you need to do a slow watering .. with a good run off and continue a littel .. to soake the soil a bit .. so it dont just run out the side between then soil and cup .. tho Nm. do the repot insted ..

take the new pot .. fill it up with the soil mix ..
if you have dolomit lime or epsom salt it can be nice to add to the soil in small ammounts .. Ts.s

when you fill it .. use a spray can .. mist in between layers ..

when full .. use the cup to make a hole ..

then take the cup .. and hold one hand/a few fingers on top of your soil .. then tip it over and remove the pot carefully ..if it dont come off easily .. tip it over agin .. use a butter knife around the edges .. carefully .. then do it agin ..

then mist the old soil/rootball and the hole and put it in carefully .. dont add to mouch soil on top .. old top soil also need to be new top .. max ½ a inch ..

then give it a good slow watering with clean water untill you see a bit of run off .. after that I dont belive watering will be nesseary for atlest 3-4 days ..

Show a pic of your light. Are you sure it is a true 125 watt? Or does it provide the same light as a 125 watt? The equivalency rating on the box "As much light as a 125 watt" does NOT equal 125 CFL watts. It looks light-starved.

yea for sure, i made sure it was a true 125w. its about 8 to 10 inches long, 6500k spectrum. i have that and a 125w budding light 2700k spectrum for flowering as well.

use boath .. all grow .. the more light the better .. and it also use red/yellow in Veg and blue in flowering ..

this is easy. OVERWATERED. water as needed. try this. dont water till leaves start to droop. then you can see the diff between too much and too little water
