So a couple of peaceful cannabis users were noticed while on duty. It would seem the more appropriate response from the cops who noticed the smell, would be "Roll one up homie".
It would have played out so much better than this story did. It might not have made news, but it still would have been cool. It outlines how cannabis has become acceptable to a varied level of users. I enjoy watching the stereotypical (cheech and chong) stoner image decay, as intellectuals and college students enjoy cannabis openly.
This story ends without a bang, but it leaves open the question: Once confiscated, who rolled the blunt @ the station so he could spark it?
