These selections will partially depend on the amount of space you are trying to illuminate.
Based on the 4ft(ish) length, I'm assuming its at least a 2x4?

Thank you for your reply the space I am trying for in 1) With 3 strips is 2.5 maybe 3 feet x 2 feet.
The second example with 5 strips the grow space is 4.5 feet x 2 feet.... cheers

Thank you for your replies. As for the drivers suggestion would it be correct to assume that if I ordered the A version of the driver I dont need a potentiometer? Again thanks guys for your help ... cheers

Yes if you order the A version you dont need a Pot. Also I would go with a CC driver over a CV driver but that's just me

I understand you are growing in a tent, but I just want to add for other people looking here for information.

If you are NOT using a tent, I advise running 4 100W strips for a 2x4
I would run 4 strips on the 320, or even a 480 if you want more photons but less efficiency.

The reason is, outside of a tent, you can also light the sides of the canopy, and with 4 strips you can get your light source closer to the edges to light those, without loosing too much in the center.

Heck, I bet it would work great with 2 on top and one running down the length on each side.
