Hey guys, this is very a much a "what would you do" type thread. I need to upgrade now. Before I have an stroke.
Before I used to have a different high wattage LED/HPS setup. Which i sold. Like a fool.
The keypoint is I want to upgrade. So I had a few ideas. Say you had $500
This is what I have and plan to run 6 plants (landrace hybrid you name it)
The setup -
On the left is a Dr150w(l,w,h,5x3x7) and on the right a ds60(2x2)
Lights available
3 X 150W HPS
1 X 400W MH/HPS
Air available - (-10 to 10 degrees c) So cooling is NOT an issue.
Humidity (0-100) Not a problem
Cost(I write code and make micro controllers so fan controllers etc consider not needed. 500$
I need -
Extraction - My calculations (5x3x7=105cm3) so with a 20% loss with a scrubber. I need around 150cfm. Seems like nothing?? I must be wrong
Light - Money will be the factor. I was thinking of adding 2 300w led panels and have the 400w hps i own in the middle for the flowering in the dr150.
And the 2 hps 150w to veg 4 plants in a ds60? (Or buy a 200w 6500k cfl - Worried about penetration) hehe
If so,
If I need such a low cfm rating, can I not just get a 6 inch axial fan, reduce to 4 inch tubing to a 4 inch scrubber. Done.. ? It feels cheap. I feel i should get a 6 inch solid inline setup. Overkill?

I go 1000w aircooled hood 6 inch in the dr150w
and 400w mh veg in ds60
