Dr Greenthumb - G13 and Sannies Killing fields F3

(2) G13 females from Dr Greenthumb (Fem)
(6) Killing Fields F3 females from Sannies (Regular)

These are all cuts taken from plants grown from seed. Each cut is from a different plant from seed.

The 6 KF's will be getting 1200 watts of their own in 5 gallon grow bags of House and Garden Coco.
The 2 G13's will be sharing a 600 watt with 1 or 2 other plants in 3 or 5 gallon bags of coco. If they get larger than expected then they will get the 600 to themselves.

Will be using a better camera after the flowering cycle starts.
The thread will stay neat and shorter if you want to avoid quoting full posts with pictures. That way someone could just look through the thread quickly if they wanted to.

Wow I just typed a whole paragraph, and it said my message
was too short.
Anyway, awesome! I just started flowering
greenthumbs bubba x OG , and killing fields too!
Happy growing.

I noticed your kf leaves look a lot different than mine.
Mine sprouted on sep 1. And they showed purple tips
At like 5 weeks veg. Maybe you got the green pheno
i was hoping for? Anyway, I'll be watching to.

Hey bleu. Is there anywhere I can check out your KF?

This is the propagation area. (1) T8 2bulb 4 foot fixture sits above a 4 ft propagation heat mat. There is 8-10 inches between the T8 bulbs and the tops of plants. The black pots are 1 qt and full of HnG Coco. Oasis cubes in the dome. With just one T8 covering a 18x48 and 8-10inches above the plants this is a very low light intensity area. I like to transplant my lightly rooted clones early, then let the plants build up some roots under low light level in the 1 qt pots for up to 7 days. I do it this way as opposed to waiting for the cubes to be full of roots. Prop area runs on a 20on4off light schedule.

The is the veg area. (2) T8 2 bulb 4 foot fixtures. T8 bulbs are 3-4 inches above the tops of plants. The area is 18x48 inches. This veg cycle will hold 21 plants. In these pictures there are 15 plants. 6 KF are yet to be moved in. The veg area runs on a 20on4off light schedule.

The G13 spent 14 days in the propagation area. That is 7 days in the tray/dome, 7 days in 1qt pots of coco. The G13 will spend at least 14 days in the veg area.

The Killing Fields will spend 17 days in the propagation area. That is 10 days in the tray/dome, 7 days in 1 qt pots of coco. The KF will spend at least 7 days in the veg area.

Might as well get this out of the way too...

Other than Gen Hydro Ph Down, these are the only nutrients that are fed to the veg plants.
I was given 3 sample bottles of Dyna Grow Foliage Pro 9-3-6. It has lasted me a while and I do plan on purchasing a bottle when the free samples are gone. 9-3-6 is a higher nitrogen feed than most people I see with grow journals... I like it very much. I am using in veg at about 2ml per gallon of water, every watering.

House and Garden Root excel is every watering in veg @ 1 ml per gallon.

Ph'ing the nutrient solution to about 6.3.

Next will be transplanting the plants from 1 qt pots to 3 and 5 gallon grow bags of HnG coco. They will go in to the flower tents for 12on12off the same day they are transplanted.... Eta : 12/1

For sure! I'll take some, and put them up tomorrow.
when I get home they will be in the dark.
I was tying the kf down today, and they already
give off a spicy, sweet smell.
I'm wishing I had the plants I have last spring for the outdoor grow.
My indoor space is small, so I have to keep everything
short. :(

You can check out my winning KF keeper in my journal in my sig. I think I should warn you that they are a bit nitrogen sensitive. My other plants, when I grew them, had no issues with execess N. All the KF's did though. Not a surprise as they are sativa leaning, but it can hit pretty quick.

Very clear headed, very uplifting, with nice psychoactive undertones that are pretty underwhelming on a modest dose, but can be pretty heightened if you smoke more.

Diesel/Grapefruit smelling almost. I really like it a lot.

I actually did get the green pheno, but it wasn't as good as my frost monster. The frosty plant I had wasn't as deep purple as the other 2 plants I had, one of which wasn't that great and the other which wasn't bad but still not as good. I'm sure there's more than one green pheno, but I liked it too. It just didn't yield as heavy, didn't have as nice bud structure and wasn't quite as tasty or potent as the best plant.

OG, nice man. i like your vert setup and choice of seeds/genetics. PSBC NL is in my lineup and i love it. Thank you for the N sensitivity heads up... I recently jumped on the high N wagon. I'll tone it down a little bit with the KF's.

Bleu, i'm having trouble finding your KF. I'm not too RIU savvy.

I got two kf nr7 x nr7 fem seeds as a freebie, and
one of them is so bushy and nice already, I don't think I can
wait till summer to flower her. I may have to buy another
light, and tent just for her. Since I can't find any info
on that plant, it's tempting.

Bleu, when i click your album it says a link is not working and i should contact the admin. PM them if you get a chance.

The G13 and KF are set to go into flower this weekend.

G13 is going to end up with 3 weeks of veg. They got the corner of the veg area through much of their veg time to keep them from growing too large before I had flower space.
Killing Fields spent nearly 4 weeks in the prop dome/area and will get about 4-5 days of veg.

I cleaned up some of the lower growth on the plants... With T8 veg, that lower growth never makes it out of the shade. I'll continue to clean them up on the lower end some weeks into flower. I handwater and like to keep room for airflow and work space. I like at least 8 - 10 inches of bare stem between the lowest growth and the soil line.

Here are some before and after the cleanup, taken today. KF joined the veg group yesterday. G13 has been in veg for a couple weeks.
