Just curious if anyone has used the DR. Earth Bud & Bloom product and what the best method for applying it is there are a few suggestions on the box such as putting it on the top layer of the soil the watering or making a tea it says

"For a rich Liquid Mixture of Dr. Earth's Organic 8, Mix 2 pounds or 5 cups for every 5 gallons of water. Let the mixture set for 24 hours strain well and mulch all the solids around the root zone The liquid portion can be applied at 1 to 2 cups for shrubs 2 to 4 cups for larger shrubs use full strength to foliar feed and for deep root feeding of all plants"

I would assume 1 cup for 1 gallon that id water to my plant starting with a lower dose then working my way up she hasnt had this fert before ive only been using a fish emulsion for veg so far

I've tried it. The tomato & vegetable one works better. I think I top dressed 1/2 cup for 7 gal pots and 1/2 cup of kelp meal. It worked great
it smelled like ass for about a day after watering. I like in my mix crab meal, kelp meal, neem meal, and rock dust when I can afford it.

after top dress of any dry nutes. Top dress worm castings too. Then water.

I just topdress once at the beginning of veg and once at the beginning of flower. If it starts to fade too early, I top dress a little more. Then I top dress worm castings and compost every few weeks. I water with compost teas and enzyme teas. Check out the. Recycled living organics thread. Its a sticky in the organic section. Look into making your own mini worm farm. Info is in that thread and the vermicomposters thread.
