This is my first grow and I tentatively decided to use organic soil and fertilizers becuase it just seems easier. I read that there is less chance of burning or damaging your plants with organics as well. I bought Fox Farms Organic Ocean Mix.
Heres my dilema. I just recieved some of the Dr. Hornbys Organic Iguana Juice it's listed at 3-1-3. I slowly have worked my way up to the reccomended dose on the bottle, but I noticed that in non-organic chemical fertilizers the reccomended fertilizer numbers are much higher, especailly the first one for nitrogen. Is it ok to double or triple the reccomended dose of Iguana Juice per gallon of water so it is more comprable to some of the chemical fertilizers on the market, or would this do no good, or worse hurt my plants?
Thanks!
