Dosing canabutter

How do you make cannabutter doses? currently I just may 5ml waffers with Pepto Bismol cups. I wish there was an easier way! Thanks.

I'm also curious about the size of doses people take. 5ml is enough for me. You?

It depends on how strong your extract is, most of my canna coco butter most people need a tip of a teaspoon, with my triple washed max dose cancer special about a grain of rice sized piece is a full dose but that has had 6g's decanted into 10g of butter, regular tokers would need a bit more of course.

The cocobudder I just made is about 5ml/dose to get really bent for me. 30g of bud into 300g of coconut oil/sunflower lecithin for a 10:1 blend. The used pot is saved to add to baking so none goes to waste.

I'm the only thing that gets wasted around here. :)

I use three quarters of an ounce of Bud, then clarify one pound of butter. Do you know how many grams 1 ml of butter weighs? Thanks.

You cook with the pressed / squeezed out green? I just got a new press and it squeezes every drop out. I think?

I thought about trying to drink that green soupy stuff. Have you tried that? LOL

I just filter mine through a fine metal sieve, squeeze out what I can, then set the beaker on the back of the fridge to keep it liquid for a day then decant it into a clean mason jar to leave the sediment on the bottom of the beaker. The big puck of pot that's saturated with the oil plus the sediment gets put in a labelled freezer bag and kept in the freezer. Can break off chunks for smoothies or use it in baking as it's still damn potent. It's dark brown and has a strong roasted taste. The oil is dark brown when liquid but turns a sick green colour when cooled down to a solid.

As butter floats on water it's a bit lighter so probably weighs about 0.9g/ml. I make mine by weight so weigh the coconut oil. Coconut oil doesn't go rancid like butter and has healthier fats too. I use it as a butter substitute for sandwiches etc. Like I butter one piece of toast with it and the other with butter. Fry my eggs in the coconut oil and stuff doesn't stick even with a shitty steel frying pan tho I mostly use cast iron.

Ok easiest way to think of this is proportions by weight as the majority of the weight of bud or schwag is in the resins we are extracting. My 1x I use a kilo of coco butter to 200g of schwag (the weight is the important bit, schwag is very bulky) or in other terms a 1000 to 200 or 5-1 ratio by weight for my 3x special that needs the oil recirculating thru 3 times the schwag is a 1000 to 600 or 5-3 ratio but its a real pain to make and unless you have decent presses etc you will loose too much. To answer your question your ratio is a pound to an ounce or 16-1 or around 1/3rd the strength of my 1x (5-1 ratio) making my 3x around 9 times as strong! if you need those strengths with limited equipt use dry sift from your starting material. Those strengths are entirely unnecessary unless you are battling the big C or needing battlefield anaesthetic or summat!

I use TOR to come to places like this and an email that is not connected to me by name so don't worry much about the "Man".

Your process is more complex than mine. I cook mine up in a crock pot that I have jacked into a Variac so I can run it at higher line voltage to get up to 250F or higher if needed to decarb the pot right in the oil to capture all the terpenoids etc that cook off when you decarb in the oven. It starts bubbling around 235F and takes about 1/2 hour to an hour to finish then I let it cool and add the sunflower lecithin and let it simmer around 125F or so overnight.

I got 3oz of kief that I'm going to use to make black hash by mixing it with BHO that I'll make when I get back from my trip to BC in about 3 weeks. Leaving Sat. Gonna look for some sort of Cannabis job while I'm there and see what's up. Got offered a budtender job last year but meh. Meet a lot of hot ladies tho I bet. :)

I'm thinking more along the lines of running some lab gear or extraction equipment in a more legal atmosphere. Don't feel like being in the middle of a raid if the gestapo show up to shut down the dispensary.
