Don't use PH test strips they are bogus

I have had a few grows and all this time the ph reading I was getting from using ph strips was saying it was 6.5 to 7.0 but now I have a ph wand and come to find out I needed to be adding ph down to my water instead of up don't get me wrong I have grown nice nugs but it's all with to high of ph so if you grow get a wand don't mess with the test strips they suck

I don't see how test strips are bogus. they were around before electric testers were.

you probably just got a bad brand/misinterpreted it . . .

yeah i believe ya- the nature of test strips though doesn't allow them to be that accurate. make sure to keep your wand calibrated, or else it'll be just as good as your test strips

good info I just used it and I calibrated it before I used it to make sure it's right cause now I'm feeding my plants with rain water instead of tap water any advise for using rain water?
