Don't Plant Dispensary Seeds

Dont plant seeds that you get from dispensary bought buds. The dispensary usually gets the bud from people who are growing good weed, and they more often than not, know what they are doing with their gardens. As a result, the buds are usually going to be sinsemella. So, if there are seeds in the bud, it is likely the result of a hermaphordite. Seeds grown from hermies will tend to cause more hermaphroditism in their offspring, and then end up pollenating your entire garden

This happened to me this week when I found pollen sacks in almost every bud on a purple chemdawg I got from Linsey's Station in Flint.

Not her fault at all, but I wanted to mention them because they have always been really awesome to me and I wanted to recommend them to anyone in the area.

True that but, I wouldn't have my bruce banner without dispensary bagseed. It's a catch 22, gotta be one the look out for balls and nanners. Or maybe a ball/nanner nazi. Lol

yeah i'd say it's more likely you have light leaks or some other environmental problem. cindy 99 is a result of a jack herer bagseed.

in canada, most big licensed producers practice irradiation aka "cold pasteurization" so the seeds will not be viable. don't support the big LPs in canada. let them fail.

I have gotten some pretty good seats out of bags before too.

Can you explain this cold pasteurization thing? Or provide a link to where I can learn more about it?

cold pasteurization is the name they try to trick you with. it's really called irradiation. they basically shoot the dried buds with radiation to kill any germs, mold spores, etc on it to make it completely sterile. and then you smoke it. i found a seed in my pre98 bubba kush from aphria and was excited, then found out they irradiate everything so the seed isn't viable. i cancelled my membership with aphria afterwards.

I got seeds in the strain Alaska from my LP (MedReleaf) and they sprouted fine. In fact mine tasted and was stronger than the Original.
This just shows a newbie can grow better than a LP on his first try. Yes most LP are going to fail.
