Don't know when to add nutes

So Im currently in my 4th week of veg and i have some Northern Lights planted inside of Foxfarm soil indoor CFL.

I notice the leaves are light green and from my research that's a sign of the plant hungry. Is this information correct? And if so how much should I start with. I haven't fed it any nutes because of this reason.

I'm assuming you're in Fox Farms Ocean Forest, which makes sense they're lightening up in color since that type of soil typically has about a month of "charge" in it.

Feel free to start watering in nutrients. Without knowing what nutrients you're using, I'd recommend starting with a 1/2 dose. Water with nutrients once, then again, then once with plain water, and repeat. If you need to increase the strength of nutrients you'll know.

You also dont know how to post a pic.
Buds...you're a bold sort of fellow, aren't you.

Many people choose to not post marijuana pictures for security reasons...and I think we should respect that.

Plants with inadequate lights can fade...usually lower leaves first. You said cdl lights...sure you have enough?

I have 15 total CFL lights spreader throughout for 2 plants. From what I read that should be enough. If it's not give me a suggestion of how many should be used. Im using a closet.

Now I did invest in 2 45W LED from Roleadro.

Should i use these instead of the CFL's and if so will these cover the plants?

Hi GA,
Do the math...it's easy. Just add up actual watts of all lights and divide by area. 30-40 watts/square foot will put you in range.

But why my plant does have as many leaves?
GA,
That's a much more complicated question then you might think. For a plant to grow optimally it needs many things. If you short it in any one area...that can slow things down. Nutrition (from soil or nutrients) CO2 (from ventilation) a proper environment (temp humidity) freedom from pests and disease and of course lights.

And these things can change throughout the life cycle and from strain to strain. So that's what we all strive for...supplying all those things so the plant can grow properly...That's the best answer I can give you.
