Don't know what I'm growing

Ok, so I have this plant, and I was told it was either going to be butterscotch or hawaiian.

The guy who gave me the plant wasn't sure which one he gave me.

Now there's a small chance it's the only g-13 he managed to get a seedling from. Can you tell from these pictures which strain it is? If nobody can, I'll update the thread in a couple weeks with newer pics.

Also, this is where I topped it, and these growths were the last to appear.

For those of you counting, there's 3 pairs of growths along the stem, and 2 pairs around the top. (10 growths throughout the plant from one topping? )

Seems to me like a mutant plant. What kind of soil are you using?

Garden variety top soil, for lawns and gardens. 3-4 parts top soil, 1 part peat moss.

cant tell, looks like pot plant to me. lol. whats that little red thing in the last picture? is that natural or photo shopped to show us the newest growths. it looks drawn and unnatural to me is why i asked. honestly id never herd of butterscotch bud or seen what i thought was legit Hawaiian bud, so i couldnt tell ya.

Mutant plants are not a good thing. It may be because your ph level of your soil is off. Have you checked it yet?

To answer the above questions, yes the red circle was drawn in after using Paint.

The mutant trait of the plant has yet to show negative effects, so I'm letting the plant keep growing.

And for the pH, I haven't checked it at all. I have nothing to check it with, and no budget. What I can use, is given to me or found around the house.
