Don't have CREE household lights, would these Phillips screw in bulbs be good supplementals?

Hi RIU'ers

I'm in mid flower with 3 plants with the following lighting
400W HPS (Son T Agro) 8" above canopy.
+ 186W of cool daylight CFL side lighting.

Plants are only 16"/40cm tall

Would hanging these Phillips household light bulbs be a useful and efficient addition, or a waste of time? I've got 4x14W they are 6500K, I don't know what diodes are in these or what the reflector setup is like. Do I want to remove the globe cover?

Any particular reason you want too add them? I'd just use them around the house and run with what you have. 4 wouldn't really make a noticeable impact.

yep. i'll just smoke some weed and look at aquaponics now instead

thanks peeps.

@churchhaze: I already got one, seriously volcanic rock dust is the shit people.

If had some spare dosh, I'd rather spend it on this glass unicorn one hitter...

Yeah but you need to effectively balance it, not just have random amounts. I doubt you have the capability to do so, and anyway, that spectrum is way better for early flower. Late flower you don't want to grow leaves?

I have some warm white bulbs I could swap in for the 4x24w CFLs. Mebe I should do.

The biggest benefit is the colour balance on my photos is heaps better since I put the cool daylights in, makes it easier to inspect the plants too.

Meh.
