Donkeydizzlin' - From clone to flower - 707 Headband / Chemdawg - FFOF - 600x+t5s

Figured I'd start a journal for my side project. I have three 2Gal smart-pots, two of which have 2X 707 Headband clones, and the third with a Chemdawg clone. They are in Fox Farm's Ocean Forest and being hand-fed with light organic flowering solution.

These were taken as clones, allowed about 10 days for a good showing of roots, and then vegged for about 48 hours before being sent in to the flower tent. My goal is to pull an ounce per pot average, and at least 14 grams per skyscraper cola(3). One of the 707s was injured during transplanting and has since then sprouted about 4 new nodes. She's staying low and plump.

Above them is a 600w HPS and a 2 foot 4 bulb T5 running bright blues at 6500k for an added spectrum.

As of right now, they are just about a week into flower and happier than hell. The Headband girls have shot off like skyscrapers, and I plan to harvest a few faaat donkey dick colas. There are two plants in each pot for a reason :) - The Chemdawg will branch out a bit and stretch a bit less. I'm pushing them a little with nutrients but they are being TLC'd. The slight curling-up of the leaves is something I like to see in my plants, without a doubt signaling sufficient nutrients to jam at full speed. The 707 have a slight maroon/purple in the leaves under the lighting, it's genetic though. As of right now, they are over 2 feet above soil easily. Already stinks like hell. Stay tuned!

To take these pictures, I corrected the histogram, and shielded the light from the HPS with a small piece of cardboard. The blue/purple hues are coming from plant genetics and the fluorescent lights above. More to come.

Things to note when attempting a 12/12 from clone:

  • Two clones per pot will increase terminal yield - Big time.
  • If you give the clone roughly two-three days of Veg after roots pop out the bottom, the plants will stretch three times as much when sent in to flower. Great for donkey dickin.

All things are moving along as planned. The initial stretch has slowed down, and we are in full bloom.

Next up to get 'Donkeydizzled', is two Jack's Cleaner 2 clones in a Smart-Pot. JC2 stretches quite a bit, so it will be perfect for a clone to flower. For now, I'll give them a few days under the Veg lights while they bounce back from being transplanted. By the weekend they will be in flower.

Stay tuned!

Thanks! Going to try and put some info down here for everyone. This is the technique I would like to perfect: 2 Clones in a 2-Gallon pot, sent in to flower with minimal to no veg time, yielding 50+ grams per pot. If I can dial things down, which shouldn't be easy, I plan to do a 4x4 under one 600W. 500+ grams under a 600 watt? Not a bad harvest for no veg time :)

500 grams from a 600 w is not bad at all with a veg time, but without veg it will be pretty awesome

I didn't get many good photos of the Chemdawg yesterday- Check out the nice and early trichome production. This plant smells like fruit loops and fuel. I might have already said that, but it's true. Early stank and resin production are always a good sign.

Wow. That looks very good. Very OG.

Yeah duder! I'm liking this plant more and more by the day. I only took it in the first place because my clone guy (who I no longer need to check, genetics have been dead on) was in love with the strain. When something is a grower's favorite, it might be worth a try :)

Stick around for a few weeks and see if you still like :) I'm sure there are some serious Chemdawg cuts in SoCal. I might have to go search out a good batch from one of the clubs around here to sample and inspect for my own personal grow/harvest related knowledge. Always good to have something worth comparing with, too.

So, you wanted some more pics of the Chem Dawg. It's funny, because the Headband is getting retarded fat and frosty. I'll let those ones marinate a few days :)

Packing on some sweet sweet sugar. Do you see how she's praying to the HPS? Dialed in.

I took the babies outside, one by one, for a little afternoon photo shoot. Once again, here's the recipe: Smart pot - Fox Farm's Ocean Forest Soil - My Tea, which is made of: Molasses - Humic/Fulvic acid - Mother Earth Bloom (Shrimp Meal, Fish Meal, Sea Kelp, Crab Meal, Canola Meal, Earthworm Casting, Alfalfa Extract) - Tap water.

Chem Dawg - 2 Gal Smart Pot - 4 Weeks Flower - Smells like Fruit Loops and Gasoline. She is so healthy.

Headband - 4 Weeks Flower - 2 clones in a single 2gal Smart pot... Starting to get a bit root-bound here. I will be using 5-gal smart pots next time for double plants. Super super sticky, smells sweet and spicy, with a bit of diesel.

Jilly Bean - 2.5 Weeks Flower - 2Gal Smart Pot - She smells like limes and lemons. Almost like a pina colada maybe. It is overwhelming too, not subtle. Check the fan-leaf flower, and early resin production.

Mr. Nice Guy - 2.5 Weeks Flower - 1 Gallon Smart pot - Smallest pot here. This plant is so funky and fruity. When hovering above, it smells poopy. When smelling fingers after handling, it's fruity and skunky.
