Clinics will dictate the wholesale price. They consider the overall quality of your product and if your strain is not apart of their existing inventory. Do not expect much though because you are a vendor and it is a wholesale transaction. They will of course mark it up on their end. Also look into if you require a seller's license from state board of equalization and you might need to be clean green certified that is how it is in California. Also need to claim it on taxes at years end.
Someone correct me if I am wrong here, been years since I was an independent contractor.
Used to be, and maybe still is, that a company (collective) using and independent contractor (grower) did not have to 1099 them until until the services exceeded a certain dollar amount. I think it was $600.
They are not paying you for a product but for your service (labor).
I'm thinking that if you keep your transactions under that amount, and get paid in cash, there would be no trail and no headaches down the road.
Never done this myself, maybe wishful thinking on my part.
Technically that's true, but I've only been to 2 ever that wanted 1099 info. I just bailed. 99.9% of clubs don't do this.
