Dominion Skunk pheno hunt. Dominion Seed Co. Duke Diamond!

Duke Diamond is the man. I talk to Duke about every other day, I am running his Granny Skunk outdoors and have not tlyet tried the Dominion Skunk yet. These Skunks that Duke offer are much different than the Roadkill Skunk that you have in mind. Me and Duke was just discussing the odors that come off the Granny and it is a old ass afghani x and old ass hashplant and although it does have what most consider a "skunk " odor, its not Roadkill terps at all.

You will get slight skunk spray in his gear but very acrid dirty feet/socks, chicken shit and "skunked coffee/hops/beer terps"... A mother fucking potent ass plant for damn sure and I have been searching this strain since Afghan crept into Kentucky back in the early 90s real heavily and then unfortunately had been lost and bred out... Don't get me wrong, you have A++++++ potent top notch meds and super sickingly sweet skunky skanky rank smelling plants coming your way but again, your most definitely not gonna find the Roadkill in it.

I have the true Roadkill Skunk that has beeb around since the early 70s and its definitely a hidden, rare, domestically and internationally sought out strain around the world. I am doing my first run with it right now at this very moment, I will be open pollinating a patch of these seeds and also pheno hunting and narrowing down. I dont have the will or energy to post the entire story about how this landed in my hands so im gonna copy n paste it on here from ICmag at the end of this post. What I have will absolutely gag you to your knees and literally make your eyes water. You will NOT pick up no sweet odors from the "Hillbilly Road Kill", but once I am finished working around with it and figuring it out, I will try and get these beans out to the public, but its gonna be hard considering I am an outlaw grower. You can take this bud wet or dry and seal it in a jar. You can take a fresh dead skunk off the hot asphalt and throw it in a jar. You then can blind fold a man and ask him which is the skunk and which is HRK and he will not be able to tell the difference. It scares me that it is so close, I am that serious. I will add that I am not advertising and to be honest as of late I don't even know if I even wanna release these to the public one day, as bad as I really want to. I have big plans, but im having issues with the whole thing, personal issues with it.

Here they are... and the pic of the pheno by itself is the stinkiest pheno of em all... not only is it road kill it even had the animal musk/piss and everything to go with it. I have found that the sativa dominant phenos in these gems smell more of burnt wire/rubber and vinyl like new tennis balls with a green fresh onion back tone with a dash of a bums armpit stench.

This pic is a little older, you cant really see it but I will get newer pics soon but the majority of the leaves are double serrated and the roadkill phenos have this serration.

Buddy, the closest thing your gonna get to the true Roadkill, in seed form like i have is Nature Farm Genetics 1969' Skunk #18 and he is all sold out completely of the open pollination packets, he has sold out several times then one day you will find a few more packs added but he said he is complete out and they are completely all gone now. But his next release will be narrowing down the Roadkill out of the SK18 open pollination run.

My HRK is almost identical to his, I know this because I am running 2 packs of his Skunk 18 as well at the moment just to compare. Only mine is worked down a little further than his from the old man on the mountain here in the great appalachians that i obtained them from. Still looks like it has very little work to be done. I have begged the old man for years for the clones he has, he has the truw Roadkill momma and the True Roadkill daddy... anyway, here is the post from IC that sums up the whole thing and how I ended up with these.... Just a short story of it. Also, I wanna wish you all the luck in your search!
That is really far out. I have searched high and low as well for that skunk weed.
Well I can’t say iam not envious of you, I wish I had a magic time machine to go back in time to save some of those seeds from late 70’s early 80’s. You never know what you got till it’s gone. I don’t blame you for holding tightly to those seeds as anyone here would too. I wish you all the best and if you could do 1 thing for me it would make my day. Play some John Conley “Rose Colored Glasses” and smoke a fat one for me!

"For reasons in this thread, is one reason why I am hesitating to release the Kentucky Roadkill Skunk seeds aka "Hillbilly Roadkill". The roots of that strain has been here since the 70's. The old man on the mountain knows nothing of technology, just a straight hermit bound hippie that has kept this strain alive. He got cancer a couple of years ago and has had a very steep uphill battle ever since. What I can say is that he has finally beat the devil beneath his skin and come out in victory, bless his great soul...

He has the Roadkill mother, he has the father. He has been open pollinating these two since he stabilized the Roadkill in the genes back in what he claims to be around the early 90s. I have begged him for cuts back in the day of this infamous plant, yet he never let go of it no matter the offer. When I say its tightly held, it is tightly held. The man has no knowledge of a cell phone, keyboard nor does he know the up to date new knowledge of breeding and the whole cannabis scene. He is just a hillbilly hermit, who stays to himself and his brothers, farming the Roadkill in the heart of the Appalachians, mostly so they can get by and live a comfortable life all while being able to resist and withdrawal from the rest of society that is harming the world today... Good people I tell ya, very very honest and down to earth people.

To make a long story short, when he got well, to the point of being able to get up and walk around and sit and hold something other than delusional conversation I went to visit him. He is a long time friend of mine and back in the 90s and early 2ks he is the oone that gave me at least 75% of the knowledge I know for guerilla growing. I have grown huge patches with these guys and in the perimeter of 3 whole counties combined... I had chances to take cuttings of that roadkill any time I wanted to, but never ceased to even imagine it. No way would I ever do that sort of thing, no matter how bad I wanted it. It was and still is my favorite pot. Not as much has been around in the past 5 years as there was before then, but I can still get my QP to smoke on every year. You will absolutely NEVER find a seed in this stuff, not me, not anyone I have ever spoken with. I would imagine as much as this strain means to him, they likely go through every pound of it in search of seeds.*

Well my last visit with him, maybe a month and a half ago he had spoken about how he was pretty much done growing commercially and that his health would no longer allow him to get out and do the things he wants to do. I thought to myself immediately that now was my chance, that maybe he would at least give me a cutting of the momma and daddy Roadkill... So I brought it up.. I asked him what he would take for a cut or two... His reply was quiet straight forward, as always "ahhh I can't do that, I think I'm gonna hang on to it"... Of course I sunk inside, as always because I really really since the day I tried it wanted that strain. I have grown every thing labeled with skunk and roadkill you could ever imagine. I have went through tons of land race Afghan seeds brought to me by a family member of mine that was in special forces, straight from Afghanistan and the hash plantations, never found anything close to the Roadkill in those... Sure some nauseating odor producers but not that skunk spray odor, never. Once you smell it you will know, what strains you have smelled that you think smell skunky is NOT skunky at all. Speaking of which, I do have a lot of the seeds left that he brought back from Afghanistan. So my point is, I have never been able to find what I was looking for. The closest I had found was back in the early 90s here in Ky when all the Afghan and middle eastern seeds was smuggled in, some were close. For years all that was grown around here was afghani strains. But then that fell out around 2000 and hybrids started taking over. The Roadkill had been around since the 70s though and according to the old man, as far as he knows there is no afghan in the line... I will have to ask him again, but he claimed it coming from some hippies that moved out here from California and I believe Mexico and a biker comes into play as well somewhere in that story. I will confirm when I see him again.

Well back to my point... Before I left his cabin that day, when I got up off the couch and started to go out the door he hollered and said "hang on just a minute I got something for ya", so I stood by the wood stove warming my hands and waited... He come back and threw me a pill bottle... Honestly I firstly thought he was throwing me a bottle of oxycodone or some pain killer that he was threw with as he was never one to want to take pills... Nope, it was a bottle of seeds... He said " those are some of the skunk seeds out of the last batch I bred"(he does not personally refer to it as Roadkill, just "skunk" but believe me... It IS THE Roadkill)... Told me to "do what you want with em, I can't give you a clone but I will give you those seeds"... My heart sunk and In almost collapsed. Ever since I just sometimes pour a few out and just look at them until this day I am still shocked that they are in my possession... From the fucking 1970s, pure roadkill skunk seeds... I used to look through every little piece of bud I could for one damn seed and never had I ever found it...*

I planned on open pollinating these seeds and spreading the love to the people whom have been searching all of this time, to relive that memory they had of skipping school and cruising the back roads while twisting up and burnin that big fat hog leg in their 69 camaro jamming to some 70s or 80s rock n roll... Almost on the verge of a psychedelic induced trip. The skunk does that to you. Your eyes will look like the flames of hell, smoke too much and you'll sweat beads...*

However.... After read in threads like this I don't even know if I want to release them anymore... I just popped my first batch about 6 days ago. I don't know where I'm going with this project yet, so do know they will have heavy dominance in this years guerilla grow and that I will be open pollinating a patch of these to obtain even more seeds. I will post pics on my thread as the time goes....*

He once said their was about 3 or 4 phenos to be found... I had only seen 2 that stood out the most to me when I used to help him grow.

I want to get this out there to the people that really truly are in love with this strain and those that have places in their heart for it. I just don't want it to fall into the wrong hands... I am still debating my final decision... Have a wonderful morning IC

Man that sounds amazing. If you ever do make seeds, please let me know! Splash those bad girls with some colloidal silver for me as well!!

We too used to get the super stinky ass roadkill skunk here in the far western end of KY in the late 80s but it’s long gone now. It was locally grown for years then just disappeared. I remember finding the odd seed in those huge buds and wished I had a bag full of them right now lol, cause she would be growing once again on this end of the state.

Dominion Skunk #8 sleeping and will be at the start of day 54 when the lights come on. I'm terrible as describing smells but I get the 'dirty socks' description. 2 of the other phenos have gassy/chemical smell to 'em...not overpowering, just underneath. This #8 has been throwing just a few late term nanners too. Haven't seen any evidence of seeds being made. Pretty sure they're all sterile.

Hey I've been enjoying following this thread for a few weeks now, everything looks good, really sorry to hear about the banners. I bought a pack of sis skunk the other day, just waiting on delivery. Are you using subcools supersoil? Adding any teas or anything? Thanks, good luck finishing the grow.

Yes, Sub’s super soil with Roots Organic Original soil in 10 gal.pots.
Those few late term nanners are no big deal and I don’t believe they’ll seed anything. I check every night.

I'm in Canada, so no roots but I'm about to mix a batch of subs supersoil in the next few days. Plants will also be flowered in 10 gallon pots under 2 x 600w hortilux. This thread should prove to be a bit of an inspiration, how many plants do you keep under 1 1000w DE? And how big of a footprint do you use?

Do you use subs exact recipe, or add any of your own amendments? I'm about to mix mine exactly like sub and let it compost for about 3 months. Looking forward to more updates, cheers.

Dominion Skunks. Been harvesting them over the past few days. The nugs are hard as rocks and the #2 pheno has that hint of gas, just underneath....nothing pronounced in ur face. Hard to describe the smell. All of them had zero stretch and look like they were in the back of an El Camino SS driven across the desert, at harvest. Got 1st gen clones vegging of all the phenos and will run again.

The back of an El Camino in the desert. Nice. Does that mean she has a sandy vag? Looks good! I am seeing very low stretch under led also. The looks are great but I bet that potency will knock you down!

Wow I really expected these Dominion skunk babies to have more stretch, anyway looking very good. Waiting for dry pics and smoke report.
