hello

with the market flooded with LED makers the old ppl the new ppl the crappy ppl ..................well my head is swimming

here it is i am redoing my system from hid to led

1 4x4x6 tent veggie ........singal bucket dwc 4 of them
1 5x5x6 tent flower .........a RDWC with undercurent.........4 buckets 1 mixing cell with 55 gallon res
whole system is running on 1.5 gallons of air a min per bucket (9 total)

i currently have a apollo 300w to use a tester i was going to add that into the veggie tent with anouther 300 of a better brand

i like atleast a 3 warrenty
i would like to be in the 11 band range since i like autos ........that so the whole thing can be mix spec
i like a 90 to 120 degree angle on the lens

so who should i check out ..............what brands should i do the legwork on .........and if u have any other info to share please pass it on

thanks

A51 just came out with a new light looks pretty good check it out.

they are out of stock and pre order

currently i am on my last 4 plants i will cut the last one some time around april 4-10 break the system down hire 1800got junk empty out 3 rooms move everything around and get settled back run by may 5th the latest and should have some killer shit by end of july.......i am hitting cannibus cup Denver to check out everyones set up (it should be huge and the chance to pick growers minds for tips it is a must) and then i will make the buys 23 april

http://www.greners.com/i/grow-light...led-grow-light-california-lightworks-uvb.html

found that one i like the UVB (yes bad and good it partly forces the plant to pump up resin glands to protect it.....they look pretty)........the power watt and amps are good the system could be on one break if i keep a eye on the exhust system and the ac in summer

advancedledlights.com has a great selection, I have the diamond series 300w x4 but I also bought 5 chinese lights for supplemental. The problem is leds don't spread out enough so I would get a few expensive panels for the main area and then a couple cheap ones to bring the light to any dark areas or just add some extra light to your grow.

dude that place rocks ..............90 day returns that would allow me to test it on one full grow
3 years warrenty
90 degree angles (these get up to 60 inch depth and a 10w cree ).......i am new but i know Cree is a very good brand in led and Epistar
daisy chain

i am contacting them now for the power useage info.......the watts and the amps
as for the sides not getting hit i was thinking about those white light or tri led light bars .......use 4 of them on the poles inside and hook them into the same timer as the overhanging (dual plug timer)

but with this one i can order grow with it then use the profits from it to pay for those bars or keep the profit return the unit and try something else

thanks man ......i bumpped your rep out of all the choices this is the sweetest if they are good i keep it .............if they are bad i find out and get a return on my funds to try anouther (do not have to eat it like normally do if u mess up)

:) they are totally cool people too, although you have to be proactive with them because their hours of operation are normal business hours.

On eBay Vipar lights are Pretty legit for small area grows
Like yours and mine can get a pair of 600 waters with 1 yr warranty for a good price

a new company to the horticulture led scene but they've been making reef/coral led for years.
I ordered one Onyx and was pretty impressed with it right out of the box.
More powerful but much much smaller than the a51 xgs. I've ordered 3 more bloom and 1 veg panel since I got the first bloom panel.
Waiting on those 4 and already considering ordering another veg model.
All cree xm-l2 (warm white for bloom, cool white for veg) .
Since I haven't owned the panel long enough to really show and tell results with this one I went on instinct . we'll see.
Buy multiple and ask for the dbkick special!! actually if you buy several you CAN get them a bit cheaper than the 449 they list for.
free shipping to the states.

Not more intense than the xgs with those secondary lenses on is my guess;-) .......more wattage for sure.

Throw up some pics of the coverage your getting.......can't believe that 3x3# with such a small panel.......also can you tell them to stop comparing it too a 600w hps.......lol

I'm afraid all I have for you is this shot (since I didn't have to get off my ass to take it).
This is a Aqua illuminations reef light cranked on every color (95 watts) next to the Rapid Onyx.
And you know ALL those led companies claim their panels replace at least 600 watts of power robbing light so........
I'll have some more stuff on these panels at a later date. I'm expecting 3 more bloom and one veg. I may order another veg model but I think I've got veg lighting covered.

That panel looks really nice you going to run a log when you get the other 4 panels db?

haha, I suppose I'll record my progress as best I know how but I'm not real organized.
I really still haven't decided what I'm gonna do with the setup. I was gonna run a onyx bloom on each side of a Luxor hood on a rail running a 1kw hortilux (which I was probably going to dim to 600. Excel....pfffftt.
I'm not really at the point where I trust led alone in flower but seeing some of these people do pretty good with whites (and me also hating that red glow of most panels) , I had to give it a go.
Plan? got no plan as of yet but I'm gonna do some diying also with the help/advice from the guys at Rapid.
Surely I'll post up something.

Hey what do you think the footprint of that 300w light is? Those prices are comparable to some HIDS and make it in my price range
