So, Here i am again, after another devastating blow in my plans to grow. Right now I'm outfitting the tin doghouse with a nice reflective surface - mylar.
The first four pics are what i've done so far. Made some holes in the top (for my lights) and in the front will be some sort of air-cleaner. Cleaner for 2 purposes, 1. it's being kept in my shop, i tend to kick up a lot of dust. 2. Critters, and insects. Less is more. Want the bads ones out, and the good insects in. For the back, and my exhaust from the air inside the doghouse, i'm using this killer somewhat low cfm exhaust fan i ripped off my old water heater. Cleaned it all out, ready for use.
I'll get some pics of the lights, when they're in and hanging.. But i'm planning on using x2 42w @2700k. This is to start with. Mind you i'm not going crazy all out with it being my first time like this. Hence me using some haggard mid-grade weed seeds, to test my setup. If this proves successful, then i'll go with proper lighting, seeds, ph, nutes, etc.
Also, here's a few pics of the 2 plants that got chewed in two by some animal. I managed to throw em in some water. They've since perked up, but they're fate is yet uncertain. Can't find any root hormones in my area at all...
