Dog eats an edible

I couldnt imagine, do you think he took the dog anywhere or would you wait it out? Dosage dependent I guess.

My friend's wiener dog ate an edible once... poor thing peed itself and cried for 24 hours... I feel bad for dogs who consume cannabis by mistake. =( Poor doggies... =(

My 65# female ate a cookie on a hunting trip 2 years ago.needless to say she didn't hunt that day.she looked confused for a few hours, couldn't balance very well and was flinching at anything that moved near her.I ended up laying on a couch and pulled her up on me to comfort her, she ended up pissing all over me..(:

this is getting real bad with legalization looming, the irrational love of cannabis is destroying faith in drs.. probably politicians as well. im getting frustrated i know that...so are my peers

imo i dont care if you think your curing your dogs cancer. if this is a medicine, you have no business distributing it. would you see a friend with a medical problem and start handing out a script? no. besides your delusional concept of "big pharma" which seems to be common with this group of people.. its irresponsible and abusive to dose a pet, with a drug you dont understand. in the case of pets its very powerful and less an "otc" type drug comparatively

thc acts as a full agonist in dogs and cats more powerful in cats
look at it like this
300 mg will do me right ("patients" with no tolerance often take but 100mg but we have tolerance so..) now we need to Divide that by 30 when talking about your pet.. as the binding affinity is 30times less.. and you get 10mg. ok so if my body weight and brain chemistry were the same , 10mg would have me throwed. You know any 200lb cat kind sir? divide 10 by 10 and get dose for a 20lb cat
1mg will fuck up a cat....not feel effects but throw him in space with no tolerance

so ya it is dose dependent, but when crumbs of an edible do this.. they usually take the pet in, if theyre atleast that responsible and nit just worried of charges

I've personally seen many od's

(It is a great way to study weed overdoses though)

. the only thing keeping idiotic human stoners safe is the partial agonist effects.

in your pets thc has the same effect as jwh from spice in humans.

decreased seizure threshold to the point of se "status epilepticus".
can result

the classic dribble, "urinary incontinence"
is so pronounced and unique, that it immediately tells vets it was a thc overdose even in states like mine (no med use)

lack of coordination
confusion
dysphoria
and more
are the more visible symptoms
not to mention blood sugar, cardiovascular issues

its a list like any medication side effect list and these are the ones most prevalent, ie will happen depending dose
not all the ones that can happen.

If your dog eats something he shouldn't give him some milk with %3 h202 at a tsp per 10 lbs of weight. It'll make him vomit and pretty quickly so do it outside.

Very good info, thanks. Yea I couldnt imagine giving a pet an edible. My gf knows someone whos cat got high (off weed smoke) and it started peeing everywhere. Never knew it was so mucb stronger so its even worse, thanks for caring.

I was worried as fuck, but all the stuff I read said it wouldn't kill them. I started trippin out when they were hallucinating. I literally had to sleep on top of my husky. Every time he would wake he started running.
