For sure, and all because I couldn't get to my timer! They really got out of hand, but the point is about how happy the plants are. I may have to toss them, and there is a great chance of disease that could spread through the whole thing; and because of the serious light competition, I may not get much bud. This was more than a little bit of an experiment since I've not grown any with this method.

Open wood like that is the worse thing to use in a grow. Looks like you needed more light then what you have as well. Also put your timers where you can get to them.
Open wood?? There is a sheet of very heavy plastic lining the wooden boxes. I have 4 powerful LED lights. Also, the timer is very convenient; I just didn't know how to operate it. It's all good now.
A piece of plastic covering it does zero good. Plywood especially even in damp conditions can harbor mold and mildew not to mention bugs. Lighting looks like typical Amazon specials. I mentioned the timer because of the post where you said you couldn't get to it.

Would you recommend a primer? If so, what kind? What kind of top coat?
Just saying its clear you need more light. Simply giving you information that can help you in the long run. as for the paint regular flat whit kilz works. I’d definitely suggest getting the wood out all together and get a tray of some sort.
Yeah, clearly the plants are stuggling (snicker snicker). I just won the Spider Farmer giveaway, an SF7000, so I should be very good on lights. I would have loved to paint the boxes but I'm disabled, so projects that take much effort just have to wait. I just do what I can.
The sf should be a good fit. What size is that room? Sorry about the disability I get it I'm fucked up too due to the military 100%
