Does this look decent so far?

Hey guys, first time grower here. Does this look like a decent start for a plant in your guys' opinions? Don't mind the brown spot on the tip of the leaf closest to you, it's not what you think.

you seem to be doing ok so far, but I'm a little concerned about the colour of the stem, and also the leave nearest the camera has shrivelled at the end and gone yellow/brown

Yeah the leaf at the end really hasn't shriveled, it did discolor though. I accidentally got a speck of my compost mix juice stuff (w/e it is) on it and it turned it brown. It's definitely recovering though and it looks as though it's trying to turn green again.

What color should the stem be? As of now it's purple.
