does these seedlings look right or too streched out?

heres a few pictures of my attempt at growing a mother plant from seed I bought these seeds feminized from attatude seed bank Big buddah cheese and bubba kush I did lower the light since i noticed there stringyness is it too late for them and should i suport them with a sling or throw them out and start over again? any help will be apreciated

i normally use bendable straws to hold them up when they seem like they are streching, if you are able to learn them up on something, and you lowered the lights the plants should be fine,

don't throw them out. bury them right up to their first set of leaves and they will be fine

In that last picture with the light in it . I'm using a mh 400watt lumatek metal ace. Suposed to be a real good one for veging and growing out mother plants. I took the dome off lowered the light and have the fan lightly blowing over them now and as for the straw idea I'm loving that. + rep point for that

straws will work but if you bury them to their first set of leaves it will be like they never stretched at all and the stem that's now covered will turn to roots and give you an even stronger root mass.

some people have there plants stretch on purpose just so they can bury a foot of stem to become more roots. But they keep them compact first then stretch, then transplant to outside.

What about the rockwool. I probly shouldn't bury that since it's not good to keep wet for rot reasons. Or is this fine?

Yeah I dunno I never use rockwool for soil grows. There intended more for hydro. I know a couple growers that just bury the whole cube so you cant even see it. Their plants never had an issue, as long as you don't over water should be fine.

Yeah you can bury the rockwool, Ive done with stretched plants and never had a problem with rot, just try and water along the outside edge of the pot, the roots will stretch out for the water and you can avoid the center watering just to be safe if you want. Peace!

ive done it with outdoor grows with no issues (burying the rockwool)
hell a plant that was in the ground for almost 7 months still had the remnants of the cube ot the top of the root ball when i tilled it up.
i use jiffy pots now though. rockwool is actual nasty shit. bad for the lungs.....

Do you access to hempy bucket making supplies? I know you can for sure bury rockwool straight into a hempy bucket. Not as complicated as hydro growing but yields similar results and if you make a mixed hempy bucket you can make it so you don't have to water every day. Hope you stay good peace!

when I start my outdoor stuff I will lift the light just to get stretching ... I do this for a bigger root system.. I will have no exposted stem just top two leaves... will seem a lil slow but them growth will pick up fast.. I am going to have to be the 5th to agree

get a small fan on them as soon as possible, the constant breeze will thicken the stalk( bit like you using weights to build muscle) i have had this problem b4 myself, same reasons as you, only bury up to the first/original leaves( cotylidons or however u spell it) any deeper than this and u may get rot . fan also reduces risk of mold. i used the outside of ball point pens to support them along with tooth picks, recon it took around a week to sort problem.

Cut up some straws to length needed, slit them open and wrap them around the stalk for added support, it works great. Also you need to get some air movement on your plants to help thicken and strengthen up the plant, and try to get the light closer, good luck, peace

ok you guys are saying you can barry the stem up to the first set of leaves and it will help the plant root better, what i am wondering is i am in the veg stage still but pretty far into it and i was wondering if it is too late for me to do this or can i do it still, the bottom of the plant has developed into a nice stem already
