Does taking a sample harm the plant???????

I don't really post just look in like every night for tips.
i have a grow journal but I'm not putting the rest up until after harvest.

Anyway, As the title says, will taking a sample from a lower branch harm the plant?
I'm doing a fast and vast auto, it's 65 days old and about 3 days into flush. Its meant to be 8 week plant but just ain't ready for me yet.(still a couple white hairs)

I'm skint tonight and smoke a lot, need a smoke now! Would it be okay just taking a few buds of? And will I just take individual buds off or will I just take a branch of at the main stem or closer to the bud???

Any help would be appreciated

So it won't stunt the plant?
i don't want to fuck the plant in such a late stage.

Just take a couple small ones from the bottom and dont worry about it.
