Does Plant Pot Size Matter?

Basically experimenting with a pc grow, only growing 1 plant, most probably going to grow a low-Ryder with some LST... I was thinking about getting a rectangular pot to pretty much fill the base of the pc but only have it about 4-5 inches high?

Will this affect the grow?
Whats a good size/shape etc?

yes u want a deep slim pot. hydro is good because u can get away w/o having deep roots/pots. try looking at the "world of hempy" grow that should give you a little insight on passive hydro

Deeper roots are better than shallow roots, but essentially you should be ok with a lowryder if you can have 5 inches of soil depth, but plenty of width. It'll dry out quite fast though I reckon..so you'll need to keep on top of that.

Pot size does matter but in your case it doesn't since it such a small grow anyway.4-5 inches should be sufficient enough for ruderalis

Okay so you think a shallow (4-5) inch pot will be sufficient enough cos it's obvious a tiny grow? Thanks

Thanks man so basically run it in that kind of pot see how things go n try keep hydration up?

Yep. But don't over water to compensate of course. Little and often is not a good watering pattern. Weed likes to have slightly dry feet in between waterings.

why dont you just grow in your closet or something your not gonna yeild anything if your growing in a pc tower maby 1/8 of an oz. good luck man but if i were you i would grow in something bigger than that bro.
