Does any1 have a idea?

I know this is kinda off topic but, today is my birthday and i got a bowl that has a stone and it is like a vape but i dunno if i should leave the lighter on the stone everytime i hit or can it just kinda stay hot enough continue to hit it when it hot.and my rock thing has a lil black mark where i used it once today.. I kno this isnt about growing but no 1 knows what i am talking about plz it my b day...Its a bowl with a place for weed than this thing screws on and u light the thing on top of the weed and it heats up and it gets hot but dosent burn the weed.. But when i looked at the weed it looked black like it might of burned and shit..I am really stoned cuz i smoked a huge northen lights blunt but can some1 help me and tell me how to use this thing and any advice or cleaning tips??

can ya take a pic of it? as far as cleaning I use grunge off on all my glass peices.. alchol works great also but grunge off is just easier for me.. and smoking nl in a blunt.. shame on you.... oh and the stone could be used as a sort of screen.. some jamacians I have know in the past would throw a pebble in the bowl b4 bud to act as a screen..
