Hello everyone at rollitup i'm from UK has anyone ever used SUBCOOLS SUPER SOIL MIX in here at UK??? as some organic ingredients are hard to source also what soil is everyone using? as ROOTS ORGANIC is not available to buy here, and is it vital to leave the mixture to activate for 30 DAYS covered in the SUN??? or can it be used earlier?? the reason for this is we hardly get SUN here and the weather is always random also i have read you have to add EARTH JUICE and other friendly BACTERIA to make best use of it.

The main reason for this thread is as SUPER SOIL is proven to be one of the best organic medium tried and tested i haven't heard of any people in UK using this mix and could greatly help all growers here to produce the best quality organic weed unlike taste less weed or the one full of nutrients, which isn't pleasant to smoke at all.

:peace:

no one using subcools soil here in UK???? what alternative soil can i get instead of fox farm as its not available to buy here....

make Your own soil mix! perlite, peat moss, chunks of rockwool, vermiculite. I know there are a lot of recipies out there for good soil mixes. Best I had was the one the high school green house teacher had (i jacked a wee bit of it cause I wasassigned to water the greenhouse after school ha ha)

You could probably get BioBizz Light-Mix and add Biobizz Pre-Mix and it would be comparable to roots organics or foxfarm base mix and is from a European company. And if you want your soil mix to be able to feed your plants from the beginning it needs a few weeks to "cook". I know first hand because I didn't allow it to cook in my current grow and my plants weren't getting nutes from the soil. I had to supplement Earth juice in the beginning until the fungus and benificial bacteria kicked in and "cooked" the soil

hey so im not sure if this will work, but try putting your supersoil mix in a attic or basement with a heater around it, or maybe putting a 150 hps directly over it, thus ellimintaing the need of sun.
sometimes i forget how spoiled we californians are, we have some DANK SUN year round haha

as for your mix, i would suggest to keep looking, im sure some where out there on the internet some one will ship to you at a reasonable price, and even if its too expensive, keep in mind you can reuse your mix if you take care of it properly.
my two cents from the state of califonia:leaf:

Im UK, I use Super Soil.

I use either.

1:1 Biobizz light/Biobizz All Mix
1:1 BioBizz light/Plagron All Mix

I purchase azomite online along with other micro's/macro's.

Mix all ingredients, leave in the, ahem, sun! (dude it doesn't need to cook like cook cook, but just needs to compost)
after a week stir and if not much biolife then I add mycorrhiza.

Usually after a week their is a lovely top layer of white.

why don't you just by soma's book its an organic grow book and he lives in europe so you shouldn't have trouble finding all the ingredients he uses and I doubt subcools super soil is any better than soma's mix I don't know what he uses but hes one of the best breeders out their and hes been growing weed since he was 19 years old and now hes around 50-60 years old.

I'm UK too, kelp4less dot com sell every ingredient u would ever want, it's in the states, but if u order a lot it's worth it.
the only thing that's not for sale in UK is azomite, blood meal is slightly hard to find but is for sale, check google.

best soils to go for are:

Plagron or HG bat mix straight, use a light mix for seedlings
plagron light/allmix 1:1
biobiz light/all mix 1;1
im in process of seeing if the royal mix 1 to 1 with light will be too hot.

The soil don't need to be sat in the sun,or hps, room temp in a container of some sort is fine, the amendments need to break down bio degarde, that's the cooking process.just a correction for anyone else who comes across this✌

I can get alfalfa horse pellets but the smallest bag is 20kg I don't need all that, I've been using pumice as trace minerals instead, they seem to be ok but know it's not the same but hey.
