Wondering what other people think about super cropping during flower to get more light to lower branches......my friend has been doing it with decent results but in worried about stress.....it just made his buds grow kinda funny but they seemed bigger than some of the other ones do you just think this was coincidents or does it help??

Makes more since to do it early on but when your plant explodes with new growth after the switch then what ?? It only makes sense to do something about it

well thats the thing your supposed to bend all of your branches low and horizontal so when they stretch in flower they make an even canopy of similar sized buds.

id do it a bout 2 weeks before flipping to flower (depending on strain and growing cond)

but yes it significantly helps. everytime you bend the main branch lower than the rest the plant starts bulking up the lower branches instead of the main cola.

id top along with super cropping but tahts just me.

hope this helped

Yes,I super crop 3 weeks 3 days into flower to fill my canopy and keep down height, yield is fine, don't fret mate, just do it! Good luck. K.K.

Doing this hasn't stunted bud growth due to stress since you were 3 weeks in ?? IT ONLY MAKES SENSE TO DO IT A LITTLE BECAUSE WHAT ARE YOUR OTHER OPTIONS ....MY PLANTS EXPLODED AND THE CANOPY ISN'T LEVEL WHICH I ALWAYS LEAVE ONE OR TWO TOPS HIGHER THAN THE REST BUT IN THIS CASE THERE ARE ALOT OF MEDIUM GROWTH THAT HAS ALOT OF POTENTIAL THAT ARE BEING NEGLECTED .....IN GOING FOR IT

it can be done and i did it on my last grow to controp stretch, but i think its best practice to do all your training in veg and then leave it the fuck alone during flower.
