Old PC fans? Most peoples best bet! Are ya using the ones from your fridge? Those would be great!

You could extract a similar fan from a broke AC Unit, as these also use impeller fans, only quiet ones!

do you think it would be easy to set up to a cool tube?

Yup. Pretty easy. Never had to set one up on my own, but most of the cool tube applications I have seen worked great and are easy to install...
Just search the forum, I am sure you can easily find a good guide to install one!
