This is the way to go and also a favourite for guests so everyone can puff away at their own pace cigar style.

That said, I only use glass with guests and I don't worry about it too much. Nothing has happened yet and I like to think it will stay that way. I prefer not to share sloppy, saliva-soaked filtered joints with people.
