after you harvest do you have to hang them up? why?

difference from laying them down? under hps light ?

can i hang them up in the same grow room above the hps ?

THANK YOU....

IMO it's best to hang it in a cool dark place with a little air circulating.

Putting them under the light will dry them out to fast and probably ruin the flavor.

Putting them above the light is better them under it. :)

NO! but you can put them in a brown paper bag. I've never done it but have seen a few different people do it. I think you need to open the bag a few times a day to help prevent mold.

Maybe some who has done it can chime in...

you don't wanna use a ziplock bag as they won't allow the buds to breathe properly and could cause bud rot, which would suck at this point.. you can however use paper bags or a cardboard box that isn't completely closed off.. i have seen people put racks inside of boxes and it works pretty well...

how long do i gotta wait for it to dry

what happens if a harvest suppose to be exactly on oct 2nd but im not aware or experience to know that i suppose to harvest on the day of oct 2nd, instead i harvest in oct 20 when its noticable that its drying up on its own regardless if water is poured properly. which means its past due, does it make the plant less effective?

At least a week to dry. I consider mine ready for the jars when I can burn a joint and it stays lit the whole time.

The longer they flower the more of a body buzz you get. The cannabinoid's break down into other chemicals that give you a different buzz. There might be a point were they break down to far and are ineffective, but I don't know for sure.

what happens if you put them on 18/6 during harvest week/ or days

any benefits?

I don't think so. It would make the plant want to veg again. There are people that will put plants into 36 or 48 hours of dark before harvest.

do i have to hang it up? or can i just cut it up in nuggies then place them in a bucket in the dark ,which one works best ?

I meant leave the plant alive in the pot and in the dark for 36-48 hours before you chop, trim, and hang it.

Yea seriously bro, pick a corner in the closet or take a cardboard/plastic box or bin and tie string or clothes hangers.

Best way to do it.

- Flush (or just use straight up water) for the last week or so before harvest.

- When you know you're goin to harvest, put the babies in complete darkness for 2 days. This bulks up the THC percentage before harvest (theoretically). This is still debated, but I'm a firm believer.

That's all I know for crazy things before harvest.
