isnt it a trait for sativas to grow skinnier and taller while the indica dominants stay shorter and bushier?

Another thought, dont males naturally stretch a bit? You know, so they grow a bit taller to hover over the ladies? Unless you have already pre-sexed than disreguard that thought.

edit: oh duh yours are all in flowering my bad.

You are right.

I think Sativas especially look a little stretched when grown indoors unless you keep pruning and topping them. Even outdoors Sativas can look stretched.

I think they look fine.

Oh hey Jordi, I love the pic with your cat looking that way like whens that gonna be ready ha ha. You should doctor that pic with a caption.

your plant is fine thats just how it grows you have enough light to grow it proper

I agree with ChiTown...they look like there doing good other then a few yellow leaves but other then that they dont really look stretched..they have a nice balance to them. Stretched plants have more of a tendancy to lean...Thats just my opinion.(I wouldn't take it as i have very little growin expirience :-P)

i stretch my plants on purpose, I grow 3 footers into 6 plus. Spacing the nodes allows way more light to pass through the middle without tucking or pruning fan leaves, equaling bigger buds. Hps will stretch plants due to the orange glow, its natural to the light, hence why mh is better to veg with. I wouldnt worry unless they are outstretching the room they have to grow, in which just tie them down, or top them.

i have the light about a foot maybe 16 inches above. i also just added a 100 hps and 3 4ft floros, i got down to look across the grow to see how much light is getting into the middle of the grow and i could see every branch all the way through. so now i have complete light penetration. i still have like 1 more 4ft t8 , a 2 tube four foot t12 and about 6 cfl with reflectors. im debating putting em all up
thats 4 1 tube 4ft t8s
1 2 tube t12
1 100hps
and 6 cfls with reflectors.
i was thinking if i add all of the lights it should help right?

thanks bro i love that cat, anyway i beleive it has about a month to go. . i topped it a couple times and tied it down. but then i harvested the mass super skunk and i hated the way the buds grew with the branches tied down. when i dont tie down the branches the buds grow upwards and compact very nicely together creating one long super nugget. but when i tied em down the damnd thing started growing branches strait up off the branches thats were tied down. it caused not a large branch long bud, but like 10 smaller nugs on each branch, and i like the whole branch filled and compact better...so now im tieing em down for about a week into flower then untying em and letting em grow strait up

oh how far into flower would you guys top? i have 3 sativas that are 4 + feet now, a foot taller than the rest. they are a week into flower caani top em now or is it usel;ess at this point?
the last pic is of the sativas in question. what would you guys do? just use the extra lights to thicken up the buds and leave em the way they are?
