Hey everyone. Here are the pictures of my 2 plants. They are 3 weeks old as of yesterday. I transplanted from a solo cup to 1 gallon smart pot 9 days ago and they have more than doubled in size in that 9 days. The outer leaves are going over the pot. I have my final pots (5 gallon smart pots with handles) on standby. Is it olk to transplant them again this soon?? I'm worried they will get root bound cause I was told once the leaves hit the outer edges that means the roots have as well. Please please help!!! My first grow and I don't wanna transplant it again this soon if it's gonna stress them out. The first transplant was perfect zero stress. Thanks!00.jpg01.jpg02.jpg03.jpg Don't pay any attention to the little lady growing in the back lol. The 2 big ones are dutch passion mazar fem a medical strain and the little one in the solo cup is akorn snowbud fem. They are under a 400 watt MH bulb and a high output t5 :bigjoint:

I want to transplant before the roots start coming through pot so they don't tear when i take it out. i've seen pictures of roots coming through smart pots and i don't wanna put the smart pot in the 5 gallon smart pot

They get rootbound only if they are in too small container too long, and even that can be fixed by repotting.

Id wait a week or so, or when there are sings of defiency/stunted growth. Let the roots develop properly around that container and in theory, you have more rootmass. More roots before potting = better.
And if done properly repotting dosnt "tear" roots nor stress the plant.

Ps not sure tho in this case if the roots literally grow thru that pot.

Edit:
