Do these moisture sensors work for us?

I just got this meter to help me with my over watering issues
Does anyone have any experience with them?
Will they work for our indoor application?
Would make things much simpler if it's legit

Yes they work good enough and yours looks like a better one then the one I use it was $2.60 works great I always water when it’s almost on the red dry side but every third water I let it dry out a little more I’m using coco medium Cheers oh and get another one and use them both to compare I do that with my ph and ec/ppm meters as well but that’s just me I’m not to trusting of gadgets As I’ve had a bad experience in the past

From experience I used to work really long stretches of 12 hour shifts. Tried them to save time. Bought 10 and at first seemed okay. But then they started giving false readings. When you have to start checking to make sure the device that checks is right it's time to ditch them. Others here may love them.

Why?
Not arguing but curious.
I've been testing it on an outdoor potted plant a dry bag of soil and such it SEEMS to be working.
Other than ill be stabbing thru root systems unless I leave it in.
Those things blow learn to know the weight of the pots when dry and moist. Those little meters don’t work for any plant. If there’s a small dry spot it’ll get slightly confused.

Yes, they can be a useful tool. But we only used to use them to see whats going on with big ass smartpots outdoor. Indoor, just lift the pot like previously mentioned.

Dont keep them in, they don’t hold up that way. Poke them in, get a reading, take out.

Thanks I did wonder about that.
If been putting it in to test.
I lift i r. Is a little heavier than I'd like so i test it
Then other times its light I teat it and it says dry.
I'm just mainly using it as a bq lip checker.
If it feel a might go me but still reads moist I wait a day if it says dry i go ahead and water
Thanks for all the advice
