Do these look ready? Oct 1st!

Mine don't keep the pistols to long outside either I would wait til may 10/10-14 to pull but really u could on the first too I always set a date and the go 2 weeks past but that's me and I don't grocery shop when I'm hungry either.

Hmm, why do you suppose the pistols dry up outdoors? My other plants are about two weeks behind the plant in question above and they all still have white pistols and are slowly starting to go red and I assume will shrivel up as it starts developing weightier more dense bud growth. I'm growing Big Bud XXL, by the way, which is like 80% indica, 20 % sativa. I, of course, am relying on trichome color but it is hard not to overlook easy visual cues like loss of pistols and I cannot help but to wonder if I'm letting these plants ripen too much.
