They look fine to me they just spored out. If your just growing for your self and not for profit then nect time pick when the caps are still fully closed. The diference between closed cap and open cap is huge, not in potency but ratio of psylocine to psylocybin. They are completely safe, and will be very good.

hell yeah! that's good to know they are good to eat. I asked about the color because it was hard to tell, and I know that's a huge thing when IDing consumable fungus

Those look like some fire shroooooooms, aohh the memories. I fucking loved the hell out of shrooms when I could eat them.

You should try growing some gold caps next, by far best fungi I've ever eaten.

Take the wire rack out of the oven, put it in a room that has a ceiling fan on high constantly. Place a layer of paper towels on the rack and place shooms on rack. Let dry until like a cracker. With them meaty stems it may take a day or two. Remember if you want to dose and they are fresh take what you want X ten. 3 grams get you dry then 30 wet to go there.

I use a food dyhydrator that I know does not go over 140 degrees. 160 degrees is when you start to remove the goodness so stay at 140 max. Takes about 4 hours to do 2 ounces dry.

Careful with your conversion, water weight in the average cubensis is 92 or 94 percent of total weight in a situation where the fruit is freshly picked. However, a fresh mushroom contains psychoactives that are destroyed in drying so proportionately your wet mushroom is slightly stronger than the dry one everything else being equal. This won't make much of a difference in a few grams but if you are going for a quarter ounce dose, you might well be surprised at the difference in the final high.
