Found a bunch of these and a light fixture to put them in.

If they're free they will work for seedlings, clones, maybe veg if you have enough of em, like bout 12 lol. I used em for side lighting before I could afford t5's and HPS.

I'm 75-100% sure that no one will be able to tell you if those will work just by this picture.
What is the Wattage / HZ / Ect., we need more information, sorry for not answering your question.

Pretty sure they are 40w. I found 8 of them at my moms and the fixture will hold 4 at a time.

I have an HPS i use. Just started thinking maybe i could have two grows going if these were ok.

If they're 40W actual Watts and they are 6500K temp. or even 2700K temp. that will work for awhile. Put the lights as close as possible to your babies (without burning of course). You will more then likely want to upgrade your lights unless you want small, airy plants/buds.
People recommend using 2700ks and 6500ks at the same time for a "fuller" spectrum.

They work but the small CFLs are about the same if not better. And ur not taking up 2-4 feet of space.
