Not ready yet man... doesn’t look like the calyx’s have started to swell ....what strain and how long have they been flowering?

Why would you tell a person to start flushing a plant when you don't know if it is ready? If you don't know don't give bad advice.
maritimekid420 - The best advice I can give you is to invest in an inexpensive microscope and check your trichs. This is the key to harvesting when ready and not wasting a grow by cutting too early. Here is a quick guide, not complete but there are many threads dealing with this, just use the friendly search feature.
clear trichs - short lived head buzz
milky - 100% milky is a clear uplifting buzz
amber - couch lock
Just my two cents if you are growing sativa you never go past 100% milky for the best high.

I didn't mean "Hey, flush right now". What I meant was if you believe they're almost done (I'm assuming he knows his strain and it's flowering time) I would definitely flush and leach out some of the nutes before you pick em.

acyually i have no clue what strain it is it was a random clone that a friend gave to me , so i dont know its flowering time , its at 43 days flowering i didnt think it was ready just yet just dont wanna hack her down too early mostly all hairs have turned red , but i think that is due to my temps there @ 31C and i cant get them down anymore in my room without ac and its not available at the moment . ive been using advanced nutes heavy harvest fall blend i know time release is frowned upon but its all i have and it is suppose to be a great nute so i called and got the amounts from advanced nutes which they said a tbls per gallon of medium so im my case i gave it 3 1/2 tbls im usuing a sunblast 125w envirolight and 4 100w cfls , oh and i have used overdrive as well and molasses . sad thing is i dont have anything to test the ph so im just winging till i get some more cash for more supplys . this is my first indoor grow so im still learning . and i cant get a microscope in my town and have no ebay account so i guess im just gonna have to wait it out i guess till week 8 the chop my girl down. and some ppl say you cant root clones under 12/12 but i just rooted one and shes growing great lol

Ah well damn. I guess when I assume I make an ass out of u and me... I actually run a bit warmer than you in the summer so I wouldn't stress over the temperature too much.
Your girlie looks pretty indica dominant so I'd wait a little longer than week 8 to chop her, but that's just me. I prefer the couch lock stone. And, nice job on experimenting with the clone and not believing everything you read. Overall, great job.

only thing about my plant is im getting rust spot all over the leaves now and its getting worse and i dont know what it is , its prolly hurting my girl or slowing her down i imagine

i looked who knows looks like an Mg deficientcy im just gonna ride it out . this plant was just an experiment i have a few more beauties on the go for when shes done

I hate when people say that. He didn't ask should I go out and buy a scope like he's probably already heard a thousand times around here. He asked do they look done? If you don't have an answer to that question, why respond? Which brings me to the point they didn't look done to me. I'd guess a week or two more

I doubt it'll be done in week 8 either, keep in mind plants don’t really care about your schedules or what week of flower it’s in, they finish when they want too. Week 8 you might be close, but by the looks of the picture I’d guess another 4 weeks or so… patience is a virtue! I’ve made the mistake of chopping in week 8 because I thought the plant was done and it wasn’t, the smoke wasn’t as good as it could have been. I should have waited another few weeks for it to finish. Get yourself a microscope keep checking the trics and once they have turned milky looking your close. I usually wait until I have about 5 to 10% amber trics starting to show and the remaining trics are milky…if you like the couchlock high let them go until you see over 50% amber trics
This is a picture of one of my plants in week 11 the strain is mostly indicia and it's not done yet either....notice how much fatter it is....once your plant starts to swell like this one you're about 2 to 3 weeks away give or take

im growing with sunblaster cfls too guys i dunno will the mg deficientcy really hurt growth. like these buds are rock hard there about 7-8 inchs long and prolly 3inchs round i wasnt even expecting much from this plant maybe an oz but anything more is always a bonus . really you think 11 weeks man lol how much bigger can they get there not getting nutes anymore just molases i dunno just my first indoor grow and im impressed so far from what im working with and sugggestions how to fix the mg deficentcy im low on funds so if there were house hould stuff i could use that would be great il be better prepped next round tho

wait till it swells up,i like most of my indicas around 9 weeks or more,8 weeks is not enough for most strains that arent autos,they will swell up out of nowhere and you will be glad you waited
