Do nutrients go bad?

Hi yall,

I have some left over tiger bloom from last year. Is it ok to use again or should I buy a fresh bottle?

Thanks!

Unless the bottle states an expiration, you should be good. Even with an expiration date, they are usually good for 1.5 - 2 years.

Shake it and look inside with a flashlight or something. If you hear any gravel or see any rocks or stuff in the nutrients then it's not 100% good anymore. What can happen is call precipitation and that's when minerals start to bond together and become unusable to the plant. The chemistry joke for this is "If you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the precipitate." LOL I love that one.

Otherwise the shelf life for that is basically many years..

As long as it has not sat out in the garage in 100 plust temps you will be fine, def shake it up well. I am using my stuff from last year but it sits in a climate controled room

Alright cool. If worst case scenario is that it just won't be effective then it's all good. I was mainly worried that I would use it and it could F up my plant. Thanks guys.
