Do I NEED to transplant?

Hi everyone,

I have 3 ladies that have been moved outside into 12/12 for 2 weeks now - they have begun to flower.

They are about 1 foot tall but right now they are in small pots - the pots are only like 5" high.

Do I NEED to transplant them to bigger pots to get a better yeild? If so, how big of a pot should I move them to?

Also the person that gave me the clones in the first place had made a really rich soil mix that was full of nutes.

Should I be introducing some bloom nutes now?

What size pot are you in now ? :bigjoint:

If you can see the rots come out of the drainage holes then it is time.

What kind of soil are you going to use for the transplant?

Some soils like foxfarm Ocean Breeze or light warrior might be what you need. (They won't need much food in the beginning.)

Got any pictures ?

Peace - :joint::peace:

I'm not sure what size they are but they are only 5 inches high.

I don't got any pics right now and the soil I am going to be in them is going to be a custom mix made by my friend. I know the mix he is going to make will be full of nutes and other things.

I don't see roots coming out of the bottom.

I would put them in a 1 gallon when they are ready and then a 3 gallon after that if you have the room.

Rule of Thumb - 1 gallon per foot.

If your plants are loose in your current pot, you may be able to slide one out and take a look at root development, if you see roots swirling around, you could go ahead and transplant.

Put them each in a 3 gallon pot and be done with transplanting. It stresses the plants the more you do it. Good Luck
