do i have to rid of my males?

if you have any males do you have t oget rid of them? if you dont can you still smoke them? everyone alwasy says get rid of your males but what im asking is do you have to?

You don't want to smoke them. If you are planning on making hash or something like that you can keep them for that. If you leave them in you will get seeds in your females. Make the bud a little less potent.

I've been wondering about the male to hash thing... Anyone here that has actually made hash from a male? If so, what process did you use and how did the end result compare to female originated hash?

Get your male away from your females, or else you'll get seeds in your bud, and you don't want that... unless you want more seeds for future grows. Other than that, toss him! He's no good for smoke.

I know what you mean. If your going from seed you can spend a month or more nursing them then the biggest and strongest turns out to be a boy.

Whenever I buy seeds, I always make sure to save a good male for later so I can get plenty of seeds. These things are expensive, and you can't always take clones around with you.
