Hello,

My plants are about 8 weeks into flowering and have been showing signs of N deficiency. I've been adding fish emulsions and that stopped the yellowing but did not turn the leaves back to green. After 2 fert treatments i added a half teaspoon of bone meal 6-12-0 to each pot about a week ago and watered with plain water.

Here is my fert mix break down

Jacks classic bloom booster 10-30-20 1/2tsp
Beastie bloomz 0-50-30 1/2 tsp
Hi-brix molasses 10ml
Hygrozyme 10 ml
Fish emulsions 2 table spoons

All this is mixed into 2 gallons of water and fed this about once a week.

The tops of the plants look as healthy as possible. The lower sections of the plants seem to be curling down and cupping downward but its not severe. Other leaves are just yellow but other than that they look fine, some of the yellow leaves are near the top, id say between 8inches from the top and down.Besides that, the plants look pretty healthy.

My soil ph is 6.8 and my soil fertility meter still reads too little, but i dont really trust it.

Do you think my plants have a salt build up? Is there anyway to test the soil for a salt buildup? I bought a soil test kit that shows the amount of N-P-K. Would that add any insight to my problem?

Idk if this will shed any insight but i also have one plant that has some purpleing on a few of the yellow leaves. These are bag seeds so idk if its supposed to do that out not, but my grow room never gets below 70F.

hey sorry to hear about the problem. Fish emulsion was a good idea btw

since you are eight weeks into flower you might want to drop nutes totally and flush since you have a max of two to three weeks left anyway. fan leaves turning yellow toward the end of flower is actually what you want. The plants suck up the energy in the leaves and put it towards the bud. But yeah you want to start flushing if not now, very soon so you can get all of the nasty chemicals out of your bud(which will make it more smooth as opposed to harsh and chemicalish.

Ya, sounds like you're right. Had a similiar problem, flushed with distilled water, then next watering flushed w a teaspoon of Epsom salt. Did the trick, the leaves that were curled already relaxed a little, and the new growth has been perfectly healthy since then. The epsom salt breaks down the other bad salt built up in the soil and helps to flush it out. It isnt harmful to your plants, in fact I know a few people who water with it regularly. Best to add it to a bit of hot cup of water first, stir so the salt breaks down, then mix that into your jug. Good luck man

Thanks, i think that should be very helpful. How much epsom salt per gallon of water do i use? can you use too much?

i sent them into flowering about 2 weeks too early. I saw some plants start to sex and threw them into flowering cuz i got excited. Turned out all the males showed their sex first, so really they are probably only at like the 6th week of flowering. I have one sativa thats being an asshole and is just now getting around to starting to flower.
