Do I have a hermaphrodite?

I cannot tell if I have a hermaphrodite or not.

DESCRIPTION: My baby has just begun Week 5 of flowering I assume (outdoors). It has already some nice buds on it. Although today I checked and I thought I saw a few bulbs growing horizontally at a few axils. NOTE: It was ONE bulb at a few different axils, so NOT bunches or clusters. The bulbs were only about a quarter inch in length, as they are newly formed. There is already a petiole (stem) containing female flowers, branching out from the same axils that these bulbs are forming. However, the bulbs oddly have a few pistils (the hair-like strings in buds) that are extending from the bulbs. I am confused whether this is a hermaphrodite, or not, due to these pistils that are displayed in the bulbs. Could it be just a second petiole coming from the same axil that will contain female buds, but must branch slightly horizontal due to the other petiole in that place. Is this not a hermaphrodite? Do I still have hope? :)

Sorry for no pictures, I know it is a pain.

THANKS FOR ALL HELP YOU GUYS :)

Need pics to be sure. Could be calyx's, could be balls. Only way to tell is to post some pics or search, you will find a million threads asking the exact same question. Hopefully no ballls for you!

Thanks, it looked like the one on the right, female. Just the calyx looked more spherical and there was already a petiole at that location so thought it was a hermie.

Sounds like he was describing a calyx.

Thanks dannyboy602, I looked up pictures of calyx after you mentioned this, and indeed, I believe these are calyxes. It was just that the calyxes were more spherical, but with the hairs, it was indeed a calyx. The calyxes are in the location of other petioles (steams) that are already located in that axil, so it seemed very much like a hermie. Phew. Thank you for your post. I am very relieved now. I will +rep you :)
