Hey,
I know difference between the High Pressure Sodium and Low Pressure Sodium bulbs ( different wavelengths, size etc)

But do they have the same ballast?? transformer, igniter, and capacitors??

Could i use a 250w HPS bulb with a ballast from a 250w LPS???

Thanks in advance :)

don't do it. I actually have a lps 1500watt over my pool. its at least as old as me so 26 min. its garbage. 100000000000 lumens prob of light that won't grow a dandelion. they are not switchable. no ballast is switchable at all unless stated. unless you know don't stick any other bulbs into any other fixtures. 9inch whats up? good answer
