Do Continue Growing During Flower?

Just a curious question, I have several grows behind me now but I still have questions from time to time. Just wondering if roots continue growing after they begin to flower?

they do continue for a little but but NOT sure if its half way or not they stop worrying about roots and more about buds

I think I've heard/read they come to a stop around the third week...
