Do bloom boosters replace standard plant food during the flowering stage?

Or does it work in conjunction with it?

I use 24-8-16 during veg
and was planning on using a 15-30-15 for flower. Should i add a bloom booster?

my best bet would be to check out a thread by uncle ben.. hold on, give me a few to find a link for you.. yes, he can be a bit condescending at times, but dude knows his plants imo.. :D

With the ones that I have used they are supposed to be used with your regular feeding schedules. I didn't notice any difference, but I'm still a noob myself.

The idea of a bloom booster is that the plant doesn't need as much nitrogen once it starts blooming because it has stopped most of its vegetative growth, so the nitrogen number is lower than a veg fertilizer. The high phosphorus number is to support blooming...supposedly plants need more phosphorus when they bloom.

The answer to your question is to stop using the veg nutes and begin using the bloom nutes when you begin the flowering cycle.
