Do any LEDs, COBs or QBs shave a week off of Flower versus HPS????

The yield has to meet or exceed HPS too. Please no "I pulled 4 ozs with my COBs" too.

I want to hear from pros who pull poundage. A single light in a 3x3 tent does not mean dick. :fire::spew:

I believe COB users who use a far red, like 730nm, around lights out. Maybe during the last hour at lights out. I would look into that for shortening harvest time with COBs. And UV in the Peak 4 hours of the day.

Which 4 hours are the peak 4? I think QB's might shave a little time off veg.

I wonder if GrowMau5 has done any new stuff with Far Red. He had a really nice COB rig and also a cool QB rig both with far red.

In reality, UV increases potency, according to Ed Rosenthal's book, Marijuana Growers Handbook:

UVB light also affects marijuana potency. The potency of high quality marijuana increases in direct ratio to the amount of UVB light it receives.

I consider a pressured increase in potency as a hastening of ripening and protection.

Far red at the end of a cycle though is a harvest time light signal to ripen.
