DNA genetics SORBET CROSSES

Is this the breeding scene these days? It seems like all their doing is crossing crosses with other crosses, giving them a new name, and selling F1's of those crosses. It's a joke and they're laughing all the way to the bank selling $10 seeds for shaking a male around a bunch of females.

When has it not been like this? People have this idea that pot breeding was so much better in the good old days, but the majority of breeders were doing the same exact things.

These guys are not breeding anything. They're chucking pollen, making seeds, and selling them.

So who would you say is a real breeder then? Now or in the past? There’s only a handful ever that aren’t just chucking pollen on a bunch of elite clones.

I can't say. There are some but when people come out with thirteen different crosses from one strain that sound chucky to me. I'm not saying the strains are not any good. But they're not worth what people are paying and it just seems like people are in a crossing frenzy to just come out with the latest thing with the coolest name. There is hardly any difference in much of the stuff out there anymore.

I'm all for these guys cashing in on a gravy train. It's just not going to be with my cash.

I don’t see anything wrong with it as long as they are upfront about what they are selling which they are, I like having f1s sometimes u can find something unique in the variation va something inbred heavily ...

I have Kosher Sorbet which I will be popping and most likely journaling. I have had strong yields of great quality smoke from anything DNA or Reserva Privada in the past.. They are throwing a lot of strains out I agree, but this is a massive trade now moving fast, so they have to keep up. Reputation is also a big thing so I dont think they are just "chucking pollen, making seeds and selling them" quite that simply - let's see.. I have not been able to find much info also about Sorbet, but too go all out for it with a whole collection - I have high hopes.

I have had the full array of results from DNA and Reserva Privada some bad, some average, some good, some great.

I don't understand their love affair with OG 18. Out of about 10 grows, I have only seen 1 pheno worth growing. The other about 9 were mostly crap.

I think OG in general is one of the best sellers in the states? I have a friend from California who used to always go on about "PK" I think it stood for Pure Kush? Was available as a clone only... He took one pull of my Kosher Kush and said thats the closest thing PK he has smoked! Anyway Iv been doing Kosher Kush for around a year and we just cant get enough it. This is why I went for the Kosher Sorbet to bring a bit of something new to the garden and pallette haha. So fingers are crossed.

I have found DNA/Reserva Privada strains Like Skywalker Kush and Strawberry Banana have been a little tough to get going and are quite high maintenance, but the end result is well worth the hassle.

I have a holy grail in veg right now, I am hoping it is one of their good strains. I absolutely love their cataract kush. The yields are really small, but the smoke is fabulous.

I’ve had a holy grail 2 Phenos, one tall, one short ..both of them Are gas some real fire had them for 3 years now and tbh, I’m about to grab some of that dosi x sorbet. so I can get rid of the grail 3 years is plenty - but still have a connection with them.. so not sure I will chop.. but I’ve been lucky with getting great Phenos.. my two are Better than any I’ve tried at the dispensary and they have had lots of grail over the years.... I’m hoping I get a dosi Pheno and I’ll be super happy! not sure anyone has smoke some real dosido but it’s the strongest shit I’ve ever smoked In My life ..... and I smoke heavy no light weight here

I’ve had mixed results with DNA genetics. The only time ive ever had mildew was with one of their strains, and although always potent, I’ve had three very different phenos of their Holy Grail, out of 3 seeds.
