DNA genetics 60 Day Lemon not flowering

It's been exactly 30 days since I planted them(18 plants) and only few of the plants started to show some sign of flowering.
I've been keeping them under MH 18/6 light cycle, but I just checked DNA Genetic's website and according to the description the light cycle should be
12/12.

Heres the description from the website;

"With mouthwatering flavor and a super fast flowering time this strain is good for everyone, from the beginner to expert these ultra pungent fast flowering plants will have you amazed. No special light or light cycle is needed, you can even flower her in your kitchen window (Of course a proper 12/12 hour light cycle will give much better results)."

I guess they will eventually flower with this setup, but I don't want to wait too long.

What do you guys think I should do? Should I change the light cycle to 12/12 or continue to keep them under 18/6?

Flowering begins after you turn the lights back to 12/12. Plants DO NOT flower at 18/12.

Better buy a good grow book or you're doomed to failure. This is basic 101.

Autoflower strains doesn't need special light cycle like the regular ones. Thats why they call them AUTOFLOWER. It flowers automaticaly without regard to the light cycle.

There autos they do flower under 18/6 hence the name automatic. I am growing some to so hope I don't have the same problem. If I was u and u have the room try switching for a couple weeks

I was keeping the light 35 inches( 90 cm) away from the tallest plant. Do you think that could be the reason? Now I lowered the light to 23 inches.
I was using 600W MH until now just switched to 600W HPS.

Shouldn't be the problem will just make them stretch might be something in genes if they suggest 12/12 try it what u got to lose

I got nothing to lose, but I've been reading other people's journals and it seems they all keep the light cycle 18/6 for the entire growth with no problems.
I just wanna know why my plants react differently.
I also read that keeping the light cycle 12/12 significantly reduces the yield.

I'm no pro just saying. If it works put back under 18/6 or 24/0 whatever u were running. Any pics of her

Yes they're 2.1 gallon pots. I did autos before and from my experience it should be more than enough.
As I remeber correctly pot size for autos should be between 1.5 and 2.5 gallons. more than that is a waste of soil and space.

They look good is that your final pots u are flowering in
