Arrow.com has an arsenal of parts including led strips.
Samsungs are the top dogs these days.
I would look on Amazon’s cheap LED’s to see what they are using & research the brand. See if you can find something for diy projects under their name.

The type of diode you can buy will depend on the solder foot print of the mpcb you make/buy. If you can do 3030 foot print that fits lm301b as well Osram mono diodes (660nm and 730nm etc etc). Depending on your MPCBs circuit be careful with balancing voltage on different LED strings

Man thanks for replying, I really wanted your suggestion on it as i have read your thread about diy bridgelux eb gen 3 (slim) thread, I had also posted thread on your profile, I have some question like how are your leds doing?? Efficiency?? Yield??? Do they really work without heatsink??? Which one i should go with eb gen 2 or gen 3 slim. And how to power them ,cheap way and best way. For instance I would need 36 eb gen 2 at @700 for 480w.
And does complete diy project worth it?? From mcpcb design to everything I can have everything available in here, does it worth making own led strip?? And if yes then what diodes should I choose. Please help I want to start this project next month. I had been researching for long time about it but very confusing, and i Don't trust Chinese product and this project mean lot to me. I can have mcpcb made at the price of 0.025 usd per led so thought about complete diy project so that I would have more options available for diodes and spectrum, efficiency, pricing and maybe our diy project would help a lot of people.

ebgen 3 slims at nominal are fine without a heatsink. But I recommend some aluminum or some heatsink to make the strip stronger. Because they are pretty fragile especially 4ft.
