Hey man great threads and tent, I have a closet space that is only a couple inches off your dimensions.

I have a couple questions about all this, what is that shelf/rack thing you used? and how much room is between the back of it and the wall?

PS: also your pic reminds me of that guy from King of the Hill :P

PSS: how exactly did you wrap your panda around that? I know you mentioned zip ties but I can't see any, plus - wouldn't that get in the way of adjusting the rack up and down?
Like I said I have a very similar space I am building with and I am trying to do something very similar

haha thanks for putting up with my shit!!

Shelving was wire shelves bought from Target, two of the smaller models and i stacked them using all thread. The taller wire shelf setup had poor W x D dimensions, height was awesome but wouldn't fit in my closet. I made it work!

Zip-ties only go through the top and bottom shelf. At the corners the shelves as you can see in some pics, have an inch tall lip and zip ties fit through perfectly. I used the zip ties to attach it to the first side, and so on. Basically i laid out the panda, zip tied the first rail and rolled it up like a giant doobie! zip-tied at each point. Once I got back to my starting point, zip ties and sealed with black duct tape. I put the duct seam towards the back so its prettier to look at.

By using the zip ties only on top and bottom shelf, the film is secure, but i can adjust the hood as high as i need to. Although i've left more or less in the middle, and rigged up with hangers/chain and have done this for adjusting.

As i plan to LST and top, i probably could have done this with a single shelf unit and not stacked. BUT! Now down the road I have a tall tent that could multi task.. Mothers/clones up top "screened" off with film and flowering down below.
BUT! If you're a seed to harvest grower (like I am) you might be able to get away with a single shelf unit, so long as your growing style allows height restriction..

Thanks for taking the time to check out my threads.. why don't push to get this thread added to the GrowFAQ bongsmilie ;)

Thanks for the help, I am very new to this place so I have no idea how to do that thing you have asked of me.

So this is what I built up today before realizing my errors. Although I've looked it over and decided that I won't let it go to waste. What I will do is get a wire rack or whatever and put that on a shelf support and hang my light from that, use a shelf on the top as a base for the exhaust fans and wires and what not. Then build a door using hinges on the shelf supports (or something like that) and build light traps on the door for the air intakes

Hopefully it will all work
PS: haha that wall outlet has a heating pad plugged in, with a paper towel germination on it

Hey Shack! Slowly making my way through your threads man! You know once I'm up to date Ill be constantly looking over your shoulder again! This time Im going big! Bondage, 1000w, hydro, out of the growbox, out of the cellar even we are now in a room! I feel less like a grower though I have to say, using hydro..Maybe that will change once we add nutrients and have to monitor and adjust...at the moment its sit and watch :P.

This time I only get to see the babies once a week too! So I will be following this grow at the same speed as you guys, just I see everything one day faster. I just smoked some pretty nice soft hash and I'm sorta losing focus here, hope I wrapped everything up lol. Don't b a stranger!

I am digging this setup. The wiring and ducts have me a little doe-eyed though. Have you mentioned where you got that ionic purifier? seems much less messy than the $3 diy carbon filter I was looking at. I am going to read through this more carefully but did you make the covering for the tent yourself or order it?
